splat time out 2

it's my birthday today, and that's not why i'm not posting my next chapter. the reason i've been away from the computer all day is because i had (gasp) jury duty. i was going to be empanelled on a murder trial, and got out of it by mentioning how many defense attorneys i know and how many times i'd been told about prosecutorial misconduct. truthfully, i have a great deal of trouble sitting in judgment on a murder. i'm very ambiguous about right and wrong, as you might be able to tell.
so sit back and catch up on your reading and tomorrow i'll issue another chapter.
